Spring Break is Just Around the Corner

I remember when I was going to school and it would always seem to take spring break forever to arrive. We would usually get out of school for a week and it was also a sign that the school year was close to the end. I have had some really fun spring breaks during those days. We never did have the money to go to Florida for spring break, so we wasn’t the kids searching for those travel deals when our spring break arrived. We would just load up in somebody’s car and pack a few swimming trunks, fishing rods, food and other camping supplies to spend a week on the lake. We would go to Allatoona Lake and camp at Sweetwater Beach, Old Macedonia or Stamp Creek for our spring breaks. Those were some good times we had and during our fun in the sun, we could go back to school and show off our sunburns while others were showing theirs off from the Florida sun. I’m sure there will be a lot of excited young people when the 2008 Spring Break Season finally gets here!
