A Trip to Alaska

Just how cool would it be to go to Alaska? I guess it would be pretty cool and might even be cold if you went in the winter months. I like the untouched beauty that Alaska has to offer. I don’t like some the grizzly and polar bears that might be up there, but the natural beauty that has been untouched by man would great to see!

Now I hear the women have arms like men up there. I guess it’s from all the wood chopping they do. I also hear that cars aren’t needed in some parts and people travel around with dogs on sleds. I would love to take a ride with the dogs through the snow-covered land of Alaska. I’m not sure if I have any readers at my blog that are from Alaska. I have also heard of great job opportunities in Alaska. Does anybody know what types of jobs they are available in Alaska? I bet some are working on or with the Alaskan Pipeline. I have heard some of them guys make really good money. Now I know the cost of living is higher in Alaska than most of the lower 48.  I have had a fascination of Alaska since high school and I really hope to get up there one day. I wouldn’t even mind putting up with the tremendous freezing conditions that occur in Alaska. I would just love seeing all the snow that would fall during the winter time. Now I guess in the summer Alaska doesn’t really have nights. I hear that it’s like evening time and never gets pitch dark in the summer time. That would be an experience that would be fun to take in as well. Just give me a shout out for anybody that might be reading my blog from the largest U.S. state!
