Gas Prices for a Ferrari
The gas prices at the pump have changed so much lately. I can’t believe that oil has dropped so much in so little time. One month we are paying over 4 dollars at the pump and now we find gas selling for less than 2 dollars a gallon. I didn’t think gas prices would ever go below 2 dollars a gallon again, since the oil supply on Earth is going to run out one day. Consumers might actually think about buying a SUV now and this wouldn’t have even been a consideration for most folks 2 months ago.
The SUV’s is the vehicles that a lot of people focus on as “gas drinkers” and I wonder how sports cars stack up against them. A Ferrari would consume more gas than a regular car that didn’t have a high powered engine under the hood. I’m not sure if there are Ferrari parts that could be added on to help save gas if the prices did shoot back up. The current prices at the pump do favor a SUV driver or someone that owns a Ferrari. So today is a good day to own a Ferrari, but what the future holds for gas prices for tomorrow is still uncertain. Most people won’t forget the prices that were sky high just a few months ago, but there will be some people that ignore lessons of the past and will go buy a new SUV off the car lot in 2009.
