The dreaded flu or swine flu is still around and hasn’t went anywhere. I got a bad flu about 6 months ago and figured this was my first experience with the swine flu. I didn’t receive no medical treatments from a doctor, just stayed in bed and waited it out. I didn’t think I would get sick again anytime soon, but now I have gotten the flu for a 2nd time this year. Perhaps this 2nd time is really the swine flu for me or maybe I just got the regular flu this time. No matter what you want to call it, the flu is no fun to have. I am still weak and battling my flu symptoms. I have felt a little better today; compared to the last 2 days which was really bad. The coughing seems to be the worse thing with a very soar chest. I have a runny nose and fever associated with my coughing spells too. I hope everyone is still continuing to protect their selves from the flu. I’m not sure if I have ever had the famous swine flu, but I have got the flu bug 2 different times within 6 months and this is rare for me. Usually once a year and even then it’s not really bad. I probably catch a bad cold about once a year, but have already had to battle the flu 2 different times and I’m not out of the woods yet on my 2nd sickness.

The Boy Scouts of America are still doing the same things they have done for decades and nothing has changed in their philosophy. In 2009 these young boys are learning about something new that other scouts haven’t had to deal with in the past and this is swine flu. The new disease that is quickly going across the globe has now caught up to our kids and the Boy Scouts have to deal with it now.
A terrible story out of North Carolina has come out today and lots of the scouts in that area are said to be sick. Camp Daniel Boone was the location in North Carolina that was keeping boy scouts and some of these scout troops have tested positive for the new flu virus known as swine flu. One group of boys from Dunwoody, Georgia was attending the camp in North Carolina and they are now infected with swine flu and many others seem to have the same cold and flu like symptoms that swine flu causes. They are steps in place now to keep these boy scouts contained so they don’t infect anyone else and cause this new virus to spread. Many of the kids at Camp Daniel Boone are sick and it would appear this is where the swine flu started from. I’m sure the parents of these boy scouts are very concerned and worried about the health of their children right now. We know so little about this new virus and no parent wants to see their kids getting sick from this or anything else. I hope all the boy scouts that are feeling ill right now do make a fast recovery and this new virus proves to be something that our children can fight off and survive from. We should see a decrease in the spreading soon in children, since school is out for the summer in most states. Hopefully we can learn more about the swine flu before classes start backĀ at school in the fall.

The recent news of swine fluĀ spreading across the globe is causing an economic impact. Its still not clear just how serious the swine flu scare is right now, but the markets around the word are feeling the concerns. The U.S. Stock Market may have a bad week if the virus continues to pop up all over the country. There are 5 states that have reported the swine flu in their states and this number is expected to rise. We could see this virus in more than half of the U.S. States before the week ends. These health concerns will keep the markets down here and will likely affect other countries too. Hopefully some good news will break soon about the new strain of flu virus that is going around right now, but everyone is just trying to get a grip on the situation right now.
No deaths in the United States or Canada have been reported. The same is not true in Mexico where people are losing their lives from the new swine flue virus going around. Mexico is reporting 103 cases as of right now and these numbers are sure to go up before the day is over today. These concerns have caused the EU (European Union) to take action and they are advising Europeans not to travel to the USA or Mexico right now. It’s these types of fears that will send shockwaves through the economy and perhaps the leaders in Europe are over reacting right now. This is something that the medical community is taking a serious look at and they are strong concerns over this new virus. It would appear the start of swine flu started in Mexico, but we may learn a new source in the future. It isn’t clear how many people are infected with this virus across the globe right now, but the economy isn’t going to be stable until more answers are given.
