Hardest Job I Ever Had

I use to work for a company where I would shine chrome parts for the kitchen or bathroom. The parts you find at a sink or the bath tub faucets and knobs is what I use to do for a living. I would take these chrome parts and brush them against a wheel that would shine them up. It wasn’t a fun job at all and it takes a lot of skill to get the right shine on these chrome parts. You have to stay in the same direction, so the brushed lines on the chrome will all be flowing in the same direction. It might sound easy to brush shower faucets but it isn’t. There are different colors that each part needs and trying to shine them up to match a specific color is tough. It is easy to mess up these chrome parts and you have to be careful to not make them too dark. They are some chrome parts that need to be dark, but the majority of chrome just needs to be buffed to a brighter shine. Buffing a floor or your car is something you can do on your own and find the right shine you’re looking for. If you have to buff chrome parts for a company that sells shower faucets, sink faucets, and the chrome knobs that come with them; it isn’t easy to do. I don’t have the “artist” eye for seeing the exact shine on chrome and I had a tough time doing this job. I hope I never have another job as tough as this one; when I had to buff chrome parts for a living.
