Does your family leave cookies for Santa each year? What is the cookies you like to leave out and which ones do you think Santa Claus likes the best? I have been real good this year and I am hoping for a big Christmas. I want to make sure I have everything lined up properly and all the way down to the last details. Is the store bought chocolate chip cookies fine for Santa or should I make some homemade cookies for the man that will be visiting my house this year?

I know it’s a long drive from the North Pole and I also hear it’s pretty cold up there. Warm cookies and a little warm milk can go a long ways to warming up the blood stream. I just hope it warms his heart enough to leave me something really good this year. I hope all the parents out there are helping their children decide what type of cookies to leave for good ol jolly St. Nick. Leaving cookies for Santa Claus is only one of the traditions we should keep intact every Christmas. If we don’t try a little harder to keep these traditions going; then it will be easy to fall asleep on Christmas Eve. No one should fall asleep easily on December 24th. This one day of the year was meant for us to lay awake in our beds, so we can think about tomorrow and all those other things that go through our heads on Christmas Eve night. I think a lot of soul searching goes on during this time and Christmas Eve night is a good way for children and the adults to find themselves and decide how they want to make the New Year a better one. As long as we make next year better than the year before, then we are doing alright. I think it all starts with the cookies and leaving cookies for Santa Claus can help us all.
