If you had to take out a shipping box to put your Christmas gifts in this year, I hope you have already done it. For those that haven’t sent Christmas cards and Christmas packages yet; then it will probably be one day next week when they arrive to their destinations. I know the post office and all those shipping companies stay real busy around the holiday season and Christmas is the top holiday there is. It’s amazing to see how much stuff gets shipped out around Christmas time. I think all the shipping services that make their money from customers sending different things, do a good job overall to make sure our gifts do arrive on time and in one piece.

It is nice to see one part of the economy strong; while so many people are having a hard time finding work right now. I’m sure these holiday and overtime hours these workers are getting right now; will be a small blessing when they get their paychecks. If you are one of these people that will be getting a nice check soon from your overtime work this holiday season, be sure you spend your money wisely. Times are a bit hard right now and you may need this money down the road at some point. I do hope everyone got their gifts shipped out in time and I’m sure the people receiving it are glad you got out in the cold weather to send them a gift this year.
