We just became aware of a new service that is being offered by Google, to automatically have your blog ping Google whenever there is an update. For WordPress users you can add this URL to your Admin-Options-Writing, and add this http://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2 to your PIng list. Another great tool, is the ability to add Google Analytics plug in for wordPress users at this link: Wordpress plugin for Google Analytics .I believe you still need an invite to sign up for Google Analytics?
