Delivering Flowers and Pizza

I have been a delivery boy for both flowers and pizza. I’m not sure which one people like the most, because everyone is happy when they have flowers or pizza delivered to their house. I know delivering pizza, you’re taking it to a family that is expecting it; while people that get flowers, don’t always know they are getting them. I know you expect flowers for a funeral or wedding flowers, but people get surprised on their birthdays, holidays, or just from a secret admirer, when they receive flowers.

Most of the time people would look at you like you was lost, if you were bringing flowers to them. They would always be surprised and curious to see that it was their name on the card for the flowers I would be delivering them. I guess if flowers were to arrive for me today, I would be shocked too. I don’t feel like anyone would be sending me flowers and I guess that is the way most people do feel in general. Another good thing about flowers compared to pizza, is that no one ever complains about their flowers being late or cold.
