Homerun Pose on Sacrifice Fly?

Believe it or not that is indeed what one Atlanta Braves Player did tonight. Chipper Jones batting in the first inning tonight against the Phillies; he was up to bat with Willie Harris at 3rd base. Chipper just needed to get a good swing on the ball and we could score a run because it was less than 2 outs. So Chipper hits a shallow fly ball into left field, but for some reason didn’t feel it was neccessary to run. Chipper stayed in a homerun pose at the plate to watch his fly ball carry to the outfield. Luckily Willie Harris has speed and was just barely able to beat the throw to home plate. Now if the left fielder would have dropped the ball, you would figure most players would have been on 2nd base. Chipper would have been thrown out at first base. Why Chipper doesn’t want to run is a mystery to me. It seems like he should hang up his cleets if he only wants to run on plays that he gets a hit on. Chipper Jones has lost at least 1,000 total bases on his stats, just for the simple fact he doesn’t run plays out. He should be benched for his lack of hustle, but Bobby Cox continues to let him plug away in the 3rd hole.
