Fantasy Team Loses

Well my fantasy team suffered their first loss of the season. I played against the number 1 team in the league and they had a bad week. They were beatable in week 3, but my team struggled even worse. So it’s my first loss, but I still have a winning record at 2-1. So now bring on Week 4 of the NFL season. My next match will be against the 10th place team in the league, as I sit at the 6th spot right now. So this should be a game that I can stay on the positive side of a winning record.

This is the first week the “byes” come into play, so you might notice some new guys on my team. I picked up Derrick Johnson of Kansas City and Demetrius Williams of Baltimore from the free agency list. I had to cut Mike Peterson of Jacksonville and the Carolina Panthers defense to make room for them. I didn’t like having to part with Carolina’s defense, but I hope I can pick them up later when my team makes it through these bye weeks. The rest of the guys that are new that you see, are guys that I had on my roster and just haven’t had a chance to play yet. I hope Greg Jennings gives me the spark I need, because he had a great week last week in his first NFL game of the season. I been waiting for him to come back, but as soon as he is healthy I have Hines Ward who is listed as doubtful for this week. So I had to pick up Demetrius Williams to cover Hines Ward spot in the line up this week. I have been lucky with injuries and nothing too severe yet. I’m sure I will have a player or two lost later, but hopefully I can manage to make the playoffs and have everyone healthy then!
