Fantasy Football Update
Well at 4-2 my fantasy football team is hanging in there. I am in 4th place right now by the Yahoo Rankings, but share the same record with 3 other teams. Two teams tied for the top spot in our fantasy league with 5-1 records and once again I will have to face the top team in the league. This will be the 2nd time in 7 games that my team has had to face the top team in the league. The commish has decided to put in players for the owners that have abadoned their teams. So during bye weeks and injuries, the commish will sub in active players for these on abandon teams. He calls the move fair and for him it is, since he will be facing the tougher teams in the league in the 2nd half of the season. My team has had a tough schedule to this point and I was going to get to play some of these deadbeat teams going down the stretch, but now I will have to work to beat them. So the playoff road for my team remains a struggle and it will for the rest of the regular season.

I like my main offensive match ups. It’s the little things I am going to have to do well this weekend to win. My tight end, kicker, and defensive team have not given me the key points I need each week. I could use a couple of touchdowns from Tampa’s defense this Sunday against the Lions. I have Crumpler and Olsen as my tight ends and hopefully I will go with the guy that has the most points Sunday. Leaning toward Olsen right now. Shayne Graham .vs. Jeff Reed is one place I really need to get the edge at. Hopefully the Steelers offense will find the endzone and won’t take that mile high air in Denver to kick field goals in. The Jets need some stops in the Red Zone against the Bengals, so Graham can hit a few field goals for me. If I lose the war at kicker, I might be losing more than that on Sunday. I will let ya know how I did next week!
