An online community is a great place for us to meet new and exciting people. The internet has knock down walls that use to exist in our society because of distance mainly. Now we can exchange ideas and conversation with people in other countries and it’s giving us all a chance to learn more about people that exist in other areas. My fantasy football team finally got back on the winning track this week. The win moved me up to 3rd place in my fantasy football league. I now have a big match up with the 5th place team in our football league and this really needs to be a game I win. If I can win this game in Week 9, I really like my chances of making the playoffs this year. Our playoffs will be the top 6 teams in the league, so I am in the middle right now. There is about 8 teams right now, fighting for those top 6 spots in our football league. Here is the match up that I will be having this week.

Many women today find one thing or another to change about their self. It seems there is always a body part they want to change and with the medical technology that exists today, it is possible in many cases. Some women choose breast enlargement as a way to improve their overall appearance. Even if their procedure isn’t an improvement on their physical appearance, they still have a mental boost of confidence about their appearance. Sometimes we look as good as we feel and if we can make ourselves feel better; we have achieved our goal. I think most women should have concerns in other places, but I know the chest is very important to a woman. It must be rough growing up, when all your friends start to see growth and yours stays the same. I think we all have some physical feature we are not proud of, but that’s the way we came out. Women can grow a bigger chest with enlargements or they can reduce them, when it becomes medically necessary. I guess we do live in an era now that we have a choice to what we want to look like. I just wonder what tomorrow holds for people wanting to change other parts of their body, that they might not be totally pleased with.

I think we all know that gold is a solid investment for one reason. That reason is that gold retains its value well in trouble times. I think we can start making the case for oil as well. I know a lot of our problems seem to stem from the oil market, but while others struggle with the surging prices of oil; oil itself stays above water.

Now I have heard some experts say that the Earth will be totally dry of oil in 25 years. I’m not sure if that is true or not, but I think we can all agree that we are using it faster than we can produce it. I’m not sure what Mother Earth’s capacity is, but the need for oil has never been greater. When our gas prices soar at the pumps, we decide to eat out less, buy less things at the supermarket, miss that trip to the movies, or some other cost cutting measure. The funny thing is that when gas prices go up, none of us ever decide to drive less. This is where the oil companies rack up. They raise the price of oil and we still drive our cars just as much and find other things to cut out in our lives.

They say if you can’t beat them; you might as well join them. So that is what I’m going to do and I’m looking to invest in oil. I see one ETF that looks promising and had a good day today on Wall Street. The United States Oil Fund appears to be somewhere you can stick your money and make a little right now. Please be sure to look this ETF over closely before you make any sizeable investments. If you have a few hundred dollars you can stick into an ETF over the next 6 months, you might want to try the United States Oil Fund. The ticker symbol is USO and it soared to over $73 a share today. I’m not scared of that sharp rise and I would be willing to buy this ETF for the next couple of years, as long as the price stays below $94. If you can get in on this ETF for under $94; you might want to add a few shares for your portfolio. The long term of this ETF looks really good. The oil market is very volitale and this isn’t a short term investment play. I would invest monthly in this until the end of 2008, as long as my target price of $94 isn’t reached. I would like to reevaluate it at the end of 2008, to see if I wanted to continue putting my money here. So if you want a piece of the hot oil market, take a look at the United States Oil Fund (USO).

For those of you that have a tattoo or have thought about getting one, there is now a great website that has a lot of information on tattoos. You can find a great section on tatoos designs. I haven’t got a tattoo, but would consider getting one, if I could find the perfect one. I have never seen one that was just totally perfect for me. I might be searching too hard for the perfect tattoo, but I’m really not sure where I would put it at on my body. It seems the upper part of the arm is still a popular place to sport your tattoo, even though people are getting them on every inch of their bodies these days. I might get a tattoo, if I could just find the perfect one!

There is a scene in the popular 1939 Wizard of Oz Movie, where you can see something beyond the Yellow Brick Road. It is said that a munchkin hung his self because of depression and it got caught on film. It was not edited out and even today you can see the hanging as Dorthy and her pals start walking the Yellow Brick Road, and begin to make their way around a corner on the road that takes a sharp break to the right. If you look to the top left of the screen you will see this mysterious object in the back, in the forest of trees that is in the scene.

Now this wasn’t really a hanging or anyone committing suicide on this famous movie. It’s just a myth and the object you’re really seeing is a large bird. The San Diego Zoo sent in a large bird to be a part of the movie and I’m not sure if this bird ever made it in the final cut or not. Once you know that you’re looking at a bird, you can clearly see the bird pecking the ground and then it flexes its wing. This was supposed to be the dangling motion from the midget that hung his self. The bird looks like an ostrich or emu or a bird very similar to their size and look. 

Have you ever heard of this myth? Have you seen the scene that this took place? Be sure to slow it down or rewind it a few times the next time you watch the Wizard of Oz and you will see the bird pecking the ground and raising it’s head a couple of times, before it finally flexes it’s wings. So the legend of the Wizard of Oz can now be put to rest and people can know that this family movie that has stood the test of time has no creepy or dark secret behind the scenes. 

The oldest city in America is St. Augustine, Florida. This city is a true jewel of America and it gets a little bit better in October and November. The city will have Events in St. Augustine that will be selling some truly valuable antiques. Some of these antiques will be rare books and authentic Spanish treasures.

It all gets started on the last Saturday of October (27th); when lots of antique dealers will be lining the streets and selling all of these great antiques. Don’t worry if you miss the first Saturday, because it will all happen again on the last Saturday in November (24th). If you like antiques and are looking to buy them in the oldest city in our country; then you will really want to make plans to head down to St. Augustine for this antique event. You will have a chance to browse through so many antique pieces; it will take you all day to digest everything you’re seeing. However, you will not have the chance to browse all day because the Uptown Saturday Night Event starts at 5:00 PM and ends at 9:00 PM.

You can also visit the oldest road in the nation called Aviles Street. This street has the Ripleys Museum and a lot of other shops that will remain open on these special days, which will have more antiques for you to go through. You can find FREE PARKING at the Mission of Nombre de Dios!

The Uptown Saturday Night will be held again on the last Saturday in December (29th). This is a great opportunity to visit the oldest city in the nation and pick up some great antiques. I have been to St. Augustine before and found it to be one of the best cities I have ever been to. There is a great ghost walk tour you can take through this historic city, as your searching for your antiques. This is definitely something you don’t want to miss, so be sure to start making your plans today to visit St. Augustine, Florida!

It’s true the best match up will occur in November and not in January when the Super Bowl is played. The New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts will play next Sunday on November 4th for the best match up of the year. These two teams might get together again in the playoffs, but there is no chance of them playing in the Super Bowl. The NFC will have to be represented in the Super Bowl and both of these teams are AFC teams.

So strike up the band and let the predictions begin. There has been no team as impressive as the New England Patriots in my lifetime. At least for the first 8 games of the season, I can’t recall a team being as powerful as these guys. Randy Moss is the best wide receiver in the game today and add that with one of the top quarterbacks in Tom Brady, it makes for a potent combination. The Patriots can back it up defensively too as they have a veteran cast of players that seem to be in the prime of their careers.

Now you factor in the Colts who is one of the youngest teams in the NFL and the defending Super Bowl champions, make this match up a dream come true for the NFL, CBS Sports, and the lucky advertisers that will have commercials in this game. The ads in this game could sell for a Super Bowl price, when you consider just how many people will be tuning into this game.

Now who is the best quarterback? Hands down Peyton Manning is the best quarterback in the NFL and that has ever played the game. He can carry a team a long ways and I wouldn’t bet against him this Sunday. I guess until someone makes the Patriots look human, they will be heavy favorites for this match up. I’m not brave enough to bet against them, but to think the Patriots will win this game by 20 or 30 points is absurd. While the Patriots are aging downhill, the Colts young studs are aging to their primes. I think the Colts will have a much better chance to beat this team in the playoffs; as they will in this upcoming match up.

This is truly going to be the Super Bowl in November and all NFL fans in every state will be tuning in for this one. I expect both teams to come in fully prepared and Marvin Harrison not playing in week 8 will be the big story. Did the Colts sit him, so he could be ready in week 9? Hopefully Harrison can play the entire game and no injuries occur, so we can have a true winner here. Harrison not playing gives the Colts a good excuse for them not winning this game Sunday. If the Colts beat the Patriots without Harrison, it might make them more appealing for other teams to knock them off later in the year. I do think which ever team wins this game, will finish the season 16-0. Winning this game for either team is going to be a confidence-maker, and that confidence will propel the winning team to a perfect record in the regular season. So in the great words of Terrell Owens; “Get’cha Popcorn Ready!”.

Our kids today are rushing to the tv sets and getting their thumbs in shape by playing all the video games now. You don’t really see the kids playing the board games like we use to do, or going outside and shooting a few hoops on the basketball goal. I always liked playing billiards and wished that Santa would bring me a pool table. The kids now just want to have the latest video game system and all the $49 games they can get to go with it. Don’t try to buy too many games for it, because in a year or two, they will come out with a new system that you will have to pay a few hundred dollars for and the other one won’t get played with no more. I think Playstation is up to 3 right now and I wouldn’t be surprised if I see the Playstation 23 in my lifetime. If you want to make your kids happy for Christmas, then be sure to find them the hottest video games. If you would like for them to be a little more healthier, you might want to get that pool table or basketball goal for them!

I had a disappointing week and fell just short in my fantasy football league last week. I dropped to the 6th place in our league and if the season ended today, I would still make the playoffs. The top 6 teams in our league get to advance to the playoffs and I am counting on being there when playoff season rolls around.

I have had a hard time fighting off injuries and losing one of my best running backs in Carnell “Cadillac” Williams for the entire season. It’s hard to compete in fantasy football when you have weak running backs. So I am going to need a little luck to get in the playoffs and a whole lot more to actually win, when I get there. I will be facing a team that is ranked higher than me (4th) this week, so a chance to move up in the standings.

I have had some bad luck and I don’t think my record or total points show just how good of a team I have. Hopefully I can get back on the winning track this week and move up in the standings. It’s not a comfortable feeling when you are on the edge of not making the playoffs. I need a little insurance and if I can win this game, it will be a huge boost to my team, as I will start facing some of the weaker teams in the league coming up.

One of the best ways to get around in Atlanta is with Marta. It’s a public service transportation system that has buses and trains. Now the trains are a great way to travel around Atlanta and they take you to some of the more popular places in Atlanta. The sporting events or the Hartsfield Airport is what the trains are great for. You don’t have to put up with the downtown traffic and the trains can put you very close to the airport, Georgia Dome, Phillips Arena, or Turner Field where the Braves play. You can pay 1.75 and they will take you anywhere you need to go in Atlanta. The trip back costs another 1.75. If you need to switch trains and don’t leave the Marta Area, you don’t have to pay any extra. You only have to pay again, once you leave outside the train stations. So don’t worry about getting lost or getting off at the wrong place. You can change trains as much as you need to and only have to pay that 1 time fee of 1.75. It’s a great deal and I highly recommend using the Marta Train when visiting Atlanta.

I would like to take a trip to central Florida next summer. Maybe stay in one of those Orlando rental home places and take in all the theme parks that are in the area. Most of the time you think about the beaches and ocean when you visit Florida, but staying in Orlando is more about places like Disney World, Universal Studios, and all the attractions they have. So much to do in that area, you won’t have time to go to the beach. I did see that Universal Studios is doing a special Halloween show with Leatherface, Freddy, and Jason from the Friday the 13th movies. I would like to see that, but it might be tough for me to get down there this month.

I love a good steak. Those 2 and 3 dollar steaks in the store always look good, but they never taste good. No matter how long you cook them boogers, they just never get tender. So the first tip in getting a good steak is to buy one that’s expensive. That might sound funny, but it’s true. You get what you pay for and this is especially true when you’re talking about good steaks. I like a T Bone Steak, NY Strip, or the Fillet Mignon. I think all 3 of these steaks taste good and to a lesser degree I can take the Prime Rib.

Now I know some people like catsup or ketchup with their steak. I like the steak sauce myself. I would have to say that A1 is my favorite steak sauce. It’s not like I am even eating steak, unless I have my A1 steak sauce. The sauce is just as important as the french fries or baked potato that comes with your steak. I think that much of my steak sauce. I might even go without the potatoes, if I had to choose between them and my steak sauce.

Now cooking the steak can vary with me. I usually just order mine medium-well. I can eat it, if it’s a litte on the rare or well-cooked side too. I don’t want it too rare and it’s no good if it’s like a piece of charcoal your trying to choke down. If it’s pork, then you have to cook it done for me to eat it. Pork Chops are something that always should be cooked well-done. It’s a different story when you’re talking about steaks and red meat. A little pink in the middle is fine, just as long as I can have a little A1 to top it with.

I bet you never thought a roller coaster would be the biggest tourist attraction in England, did ya? It’s not just a roller coaster, but it’s one of the oldest Theme Parks in Great Britain. It’s the Pleasure Beach in Blackpool and you won’t believe all the great rides they have! Just imagine a theme park with the Avalanche, Big Diaper, Grand National, Ice Blast, Space Invader 2, Wild Mouse, and the Pepsi Max Big One! These are just some of the big rides you can expect when you visit Pleasure Beach in England. You and the family will also love the 4D Cinema at Pleasure Beach. It’s a chance to get sprayed by water and air, as the moving seats will make you feel like your actually there. You can’t leave the park without visiting the 4D Cinema! There is plenty of places to eat at inside, so you can plan a whole day in the park without ever leaving all the great rides and shows that you can experience at Pleasure Beach. Make sure you add this to the itinenary when you come out and see England’s oldest theme park!
