If you like the sun and warm weather then I’m sure you will love the conditions in Arizona. It’s an area that is said to have a dry heat and is similar to the way it feels inside an oven. People looking for land to buy will see a lot of opportunities to purchase Arizona real estate right now. The market is booming in the Valley of the Sun and all the competition could make getting a good deal easy. However, there is a lot of new interest in people wanting to move to Arizona and a lot of that probably has come from the medical field. A lot of breathing and lung problems are getting diagnosed these days and doctors are recommending Arizona. So someone selling their land in Arizona might be able to get top dollar these days from people needing the dry air for healing purposes. It should be interesting to see how the state’s population growth is over the next few decades. If I had any extra money, I would look at Arizona land for investment purposes, as I’m sure it is on the verge of exploding!

I have to admit I am picky when it comes to my ink pens. I really like the ones that will write well with little pressure and no gaps in the ink lines. A lot of pens that you buy today just aren’t that great. I have learned to determine which ones are good and which ones to stay away from when it comes to my personalized pens. I really don’t write as much as I use to but when I do have to write, I like to know I have a pen that will have ink in it and will start writing immediately. It gets old when you have to scribble your pen on a blank sheet of paper just to get the ink started. I like just taking the top off and it writes right away. I guess I shouldn’t be complaining too much and it’s not like the way they use to do it. I couldn’t even imagine dipping my pen in ink just to write out a few words and having to do that constantly. So I am greatful that pens aren’t like they use to be, but I think the pen companies can still do a better job in putting out quality pens!

A 15 year-old girl from Mexico has been getting a lot of attention for her YouTube Videos. Her name is Alex and her dreams are to become someone in the music business. She has interests in singing, playing instruments, and composing music. I’m not quite sure yet where she will fall at in the music business, but she has a wealth of talent that she displays on her YouTube Videos.

I have been documenting her life as she starts to make the climb for her dreams in life. You can keep up with Alex at my other blog Single Source Writing. Even if she doesn’t become someone famous, I think it will be interesting to see all the opportunities she gets and decisions she makes as she grows up. I have been fascinated  with a lot of her abilities and it comes across well over the YouTube air waves. You can see her sing, play the guitar, or just talk about a certain topic and see how much she enjoys using the services of a place like YouTube.

I don’t think anyone could have imagined at how popular a place like YouTube would have been. They have a great place for users to upload videos to their website and have them on display for anybody in the world to see. While some reports of terrorists are taking advantage of this new way to show your videos, there are going be a lot more positive things that will come out of a service like YouTube. I think Alex is a great example of that and Mexico isn’t the only one that gets to enjoy the talents of this talented teen. YouTube has made it possible for anyone in the world to see her and maybe with all the exposure she is getting, someone will find a place for her talents. I think being on a commercial, movie, or a television sit com could be a possibility for her. It’s never too early to start saving money and shopping for the holiday season. Halloween is just around the corner, then Thanksgiving will be upon us, and then a short month later Santa will come to town. Buffalo is where it all started for those great little tasting hot wings that you can find in any bar in America. It’s been a popular food for the sports fan to while enjoying their favorite team on the tube. You can now order hot wings in a lot of restaurants and for some it’s their main item they have on the menu.

Now the way it all got started was from a lady that was working in Buffalo, New York and her son and his friends were hungry. Since she was working in a restaurant she just grabs some chicken and mixed it with a sauce that was mainly hot sauce. Her son and his friends loved it and they came back and wanted even more. From there it grew and now everybody knows what hot wings are. Most places will also serve hot wings with blue cheese and celery to help cool down the taste buds. Today there is even contest for eating the hottest wings and serving up the hottest flavor possible. I like a little touch of fire in my hot wings, but don’t over do it. I have never eaten the buffalo wings from the original place it all got started from, but I would like to. I think you can order their sauce online and I might have to go that route to try the original recipe one day.

I wonder what life is like down in South Florida? I live in Georgia and have visited Florida many times. Most of my trips are to the North part of the state. I have been as far South as Fort Myers, Florida. That was for a field trip we had in school and we flew down there and turned around and came back. So it wasn’t like I was really down there for that long.

The Keys are beautiful down in South Florida and I would love to go to them some day. I saw on television the other day where there is a marker located on one of the Islands in the Keys and it was the exact point where Cuba is 90 miles from Florida. I’m sure land isn’t cheap in the Keys if you were looking to move there. I probably could find Miami real estate at a better bargain than the land that makes up the Florida Keys.

Just the scenery and weather alone makes the Florida Keys a desired travel destination. I do plan to make a trip down there one day and take in the Islands. I will do it in the spring time of the year, so I’m not stuck down there in hurricane season. The one thing I look most forward to; is trying a piece of that famous key lime pie that the Islands are famous for. Just thinking of it now makes me want to run out and buy a key lime pie. The ones they sell in Georgia aren’t the real things, and I believe you have to use condense milk to make an authentic key lime pie. Ok, I’m craving pie now and will have to go and cure my sweet tooth!

The Mega Millions lottery is at a whoping $325 Million Dollars! There is still another day left for buying tickets so this jackpot could increase, but they have already factored in a 75 million dollar increase from Tuesday night’s drawing. If you’re wondering if I plan to buy a ticket, then the answer is no, because I have already bought my tickets! Anytime the lottery gets big like this, I never miss the show.

I use to make fun of people that only bought tickets when it was so large. I thought it was funny because most people’s life would change dramatically with just a couple of million dollars extra. There’s no need in waiting to buy a ticket for a 100 million dollars, when 2 million dollars could take away all your worries. 1 or 2 million dollars would last you a lifetime if you were wise with it. Most people don’t even make a million dollars in their lifetime, so having it handed to you in one day is life changing.

Now the odds are very poor in actually winning the lottery. Remember I said I use to make fun of people that only play the lottery when it got big? Well that might not be a bad strategy afterall. If we only play the lottery when it gets over 2 or 3 hundred million, then we are saving a lot of money that we would normally be spending on it each week. So if you’re one of those people that only play the lottery when the jackpot gets really big, then keep doing what you’re doing. No sense in wasting money on the lottery when it’s just a few million, because the odds are so great that you won’t win. Now when it gets up there high, you will get your money’s worth just by dreaming about what you would do if you won the lottery. Just don’t get too carried away about what you would do with the money, because more times than not, all the plans a lottery winner had, suddenly changes after they actually do win the lottery. So what you think you would do with the money today, probably wouldn’t hold true if you actually get the money tomorrow! Good luck all and go out and buy a ticket! You can’t win if you don’t play!

I’m sure there is more of your yard that you want to see at night or maybe just light up a walk way better. There are so many different things that a home owner can add to his or her home these days. I was surprised at all the different lights that are available for outdoors. You can light up your house for the whole neighborhood to see! ESPN did a poll and ask people to name their favorite sport’s team. You could pick any team from any sport. The NFL was the big winner in this poll as 6 of the top 8 teams was a football team from the National Football League.

The team that won this poll has the tag as “America’s Team” and it is none other than the Dallas Cowboys. From the dominant days of the 70′s, a legendary coach in Tom Landry, the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, and all the great players that have played for Dallas, gave them top billing in this poll. So I guess it is true and this team really is America’s Team. Comming in 2nd on the poll was the sluggers from the Bronx in the New York Yankees who have won more titles that any team in any other sport.

I think it is about 70 percent of the Earth’s surface is covered by water and the rest is land. So you would think that we would be on water more than land? Since our survival under water isn’t great, we as humans tend to spend more of our time on land than water. I would like to get on the water more and get the fishing boat out on the lake more or take one of those caribbean cruises. Is there anyway to enjoy the water more than by taking a cruise?

If you don’t swim then you probably have some fears about being on the water. I know those big cruise ships seem like a hotel and you wouldn’t feel like you was really on the water. So for anyone that is scared of the water, I think a cruise to the Bahamas or Jamaica would be fine, because you wouldn’t have to worry about one of those big ships sinking. Even if something started to happen, there would be time for rescue boats or the Coast Guard to pick you up before you even got wet. I think we as humans owe it to ourselves to spend more time on the water. Its nature that made our world the way it is today and we should enjoy more of what nature has put for us here, than trying to artificially create our surroundings. Take some time today and enjoy the nature around you, and try to make it out to a lake or the ocean and take in the beauty of a big body of water just sitting there.

Well I just got done drafting my fantasy team in football. I was pretty happy with my team and looking at my competition I think I should have a great chance for the playoffs. Injuries can always play big in fantasy sports and we all know they occur in football. So it will be important for me to make the best moves possible when my injuries start to pile up this season. Hopefully the team that I drafted will all be healthy when the playoffs roll around.

I picked 6th in the draft and went ahead and took Peyton Manning as my quarterback. I know running backs are crucial in fantasy football, but I’m hoping to snag some quality back up running backs when the starters start to go down from injuries. I still manage to get solid running backs and I don’t have a lot of concerns for my running game.

It’s a 12 team league and we have a few more starting positions than the typical fantasy leagues have. My kicker is Nate Kaeding from the San Diego Chargers and my Defense is the Carolina Panthers. I will keep ya up-to-date on how the season goes for me.

Is the market to starting to swing back up? I’m not really sure right now, but I still feel very confident that it will finish near 15,000 by the end of 2007. So it’s going to have to start a sharp up-swing soon. There might be one or two bumps left in the road for this market that has been on the roller coaster the last few days. This is why the stockbroker’s make all the big bucks to determine these patterns. I’m sure they will be spending a lot of overtime at the office sitting at their office desks trying to determine how this market finishes off the month and the year. September is shaping up to be a strong month and I had been leaning for October to be the strongest month ahead. I believe September will be better than expected and October might just match September’s performance. Just keep in mind that the market is still a great value at this point and you should have no hesitations right now in putting cash into this market.

Whenever I go shopping, I find more pleasure and eye pleasing products in the electronic sections than anywhere else in the store. It’s just so fun to see all the new things on the market and the gadgets you can get for making your life easier. I think the big screen televisions always draw attention, along with the video games that you can play at certain electronic stores. Then you have the computer section that you get to see what is latest and greatest computer currently out. It’s not just the new computers but all the little bells and whistles you can buy extra for your computer. Things like a printer, scanner, or the digital cameras you can add on to your computer are fun to shop for too. They are cheaper than a new computer so I find myself looking at the smaller items more than some of the bigger ones.

I have never really thought about having a job in the electronics section of a store, but I think I would enjoy it. I’m not too bright with all the latest new gadgets out there, but I would love to learn and stay up-to-date on all the latest products out there. If you had a job in the field, then you naturally would learn about each new product as it became available. I just recently got a cell phone and I am way behind on learning how to do all the things on it. My nephews that are 14 and 12 years old know a lot more about using all the new features on these cell phones. So if I ever do get a job at an electronic’s store, then I would have to do a crash course in cell phone use!

I heard on the news today that a blind golfer made a hole in one. I find that hard to believe, since I can see and I have never done it before. I can’t imagine the odds of that happening, but according to the news report it has been done 3 other times in the past. The lady that just made the hole in one was the 4th person on record to accomplish such a feat. She said that she heard the ball hit the pole and go in. I think you would have a better chance in winning the lottery than making a hole in one and being blind. Congrats to the lady that did it and I don’t think I would want to play her. It would be hard to accept losing a golf game to a blind person. I’m not that good anyways, but losing to someone that couldn’t even see, would probably make me hang up my clubs forever.

I’m not a big fan of borrowing money and investing it in the stock market, but now could be a good time to do so. See what types of loans are out there for you and take a little time and search for a low interest rate.

It’s been great to see all the controversy in the markets lately. All of this hype and most of it has been negative hype, has insured the stock market for an over correction. This is a 14,000 point market and could be 15 thousand by the end of the year. So why is it below 13?

The market has a mind of it’s own and no one ever predicts exactly how or when it goes up or down. It’s very clear to most that the market has over-corrected and is trading below value now, and a sharp up-turn will be in the future. Mixed signals are still being seen in September and the way we trade the last days of August might hold what’s in store for September.

However the holiday season is starting on the manufacturer’s end and supplies and products are in the process of being made or shipped right now for the holiday season, which is still months away. These numbers start to show up in October, but we could see them in September if the market stays this under-valued. Stay strong and keep buying, this is a perfect opportunity for all investors across the board. Stick with the blue chips if you don’t have the stomach for this roller coaster of a market, but try to set aside 10 to 15 percent of your portfolio on the technology and energy sectors. Also, pay very close attention to the auto part stores. These are looking like really good deals on Wall Street right now, and I really don’t want to point the finger at just one of them, but see if adding a auto parts store to your portfolio makes sense to you!
