I love this movie. I know it is a short cartoon rather than an actual movie but for the sake of keeping things short and sweet we will call it a movie. I digress. So every year when this movie comes on my directv jonesboro I get all giddy and excited because it means two things. One, it is FALL! I love fall! Fall is my favorite season. Two, it is Halloween time and I love pumpkins and carving pumpkins and pumpkin spice lates at my favorite coffee place. Is the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia really preparing U.S. Citizens for a zombie attack? It appears they really are. They have added information to their large and extensive database in Atlanta and it does contain information we should follow, in case the dead come back to life again. If you are not a big fan of horror movies and don’t understand what a zombie is, it is when a dead person awakens from their grave and begins to move around like a living person. These “zombies” don’t have any thought control or much logical thinking. Their only desire seems to be, is to eat every man, woman, and child that comes into contact with it.

While you thought the C.D.C. was taking care of the real problems and things we consider to be a future hazard; it seems like they got caught up in the multi-million dollar world of horror movies. It is strange to see how the first zombie movie was created almost 5 decades ago and very few in the first 40years after. However, in the last decade, we have seen a sharp rise in the number of scary movies, which uses zombies as their theme. The zombie movie industry is no doubt growing very rapidly. The Walking Dead TV Series has been a huge hit on cable recently. Some fans like the TV version so well, they have went back to read the Walking Dead Book. I guess seeing the success at the movies and now with TV turning to the zombie monsters, the CDC in Georgia is taking no chances. They have a real plan of action, for us all to follow, in case the dead begin to exit their grave sites by the dozens, hundreds, thousands, or even more.

Most of us that consider our self “zombie experts” will remember the first true movie about zombies. It was produced by George Romero in 1968 and it was called Night of the Living Dead. You can go back further and find other zombie movies dating before this one, most notably the 1932 White Zombie movie featuring Bela Lugosi. These older films never did have the audience or cult status, for most of us to remember now. It was the classic movie Night of the Living Dead that really put things into focus for us. This is still a popular movie today and many will name it in their top 3, top 5, or top 10 lists for their all time favorite horror movies. I thought it was a pretty good movie and for the time, it was really creepy. Some of the modern movies go beyond the creepy stage and can get right down scary!

So the next time you are watching the Walking Dead on the AMC Channel or you catch a full length zombie movie, you can feel safe, knowing the Center for Disease Control is working out a emergency strategy to deal with these flesh-eating monsters. Who knew?

While there is a lot of people losing their jobs these days and finding a new job is tough to achieve, hope is out there. Since so few know what a prosthodontist does, it is likely to remain a demanding job field in most of the U.S. States. The pay is very competitive and it ranks in the top 10 with Forbes for this medical field. A job-seeker with interest in this dentistry profession, would be expected to rehabilitate and diagnose a plan of action, for patients who were in physical accidents or just had a loss of teeth, causing some facial dis- figuration. It is a needed field for people, since looks and beauty are so important these days. Our dental hygiene has improved with advances in the dental field of medicine.

I can just picture a person in a bad car accident, needing to see a medial professional like this. What about a baseball player running hard down the 1st base line and collides with the first basemen, who is trying to lean in and catch a throw from his or her shortstop. Not a lot of protection in baseball or softball either and a prosthodontist would probably work on the mouths of these sport’s athletes. If you seek a new job or a career change, please do consider the field of dentistry or becoming a nurse at a doctor’s office.  America is in need of its medical professionals and especially when the bad news comes out, that cell phones are causing brain tumors or something worse! I wished I would have went to school, at a place like Boston College, and became a tooth surgeon or a dental surgeon. One who works at a big Boston Hospital, New York Hospital, or even a Florida Hospital for dental surgeons.

The Alabama and LSU College Football Game

Who will be your team this Saturday? Two great teams. Two SEC teams. Two southern teams with real college football talent. Obviously we have a lot of teams in college football every year, who should not be in the top 10 or even 25 in some cases. Just about each year, you can find 8 to 10 college teams in the South; which would make up the top 12 in NCAA College Football anytime.

Some critics and fans of college football, think the system in place now is good. Their reasons are, because fans spend so much time talking about it and making it the main talk around the water cooler at work. Actually this isn’t true anymore or like it was years ago. The day college football decided to let a over rated USC Trojan Team, who got beat by a slightly better but still over rated Texas Longhorns team for a college football championship; was the day the South got disrespected. Texas and USC both have easy schedules every year. The South can’t produce undefeated teams, cause the teams here have talent and you play in so many quality football games each week. Auburn Tigers were undefeated and were still held out of the biggest game of the year; when Texas beat USC for a fake college championship. The real champions were the Auburn Tigers; which featured 2 NFL starting running backs in Ronnie Brown from Cartersville, Georgia and Cadillac Williams. Not to mention, their QB was pretty good too, and he was an NFL starter, Jason Campbell.

So we in the South, we play our own college football championships. This will be one of them this Saturday; when the LSU Tigers, number one in the whole USA land, will lock horns with a solid Crimson Tide team from Alabama. I love the Bama running game and the Tigers will have to find a way to stop it. Not stopping the run game, allows Alabama to control the clock, eat up precious time, and force LSU’s explosive offense to stay on the sideline. If Bama gets the run game going, I will throw them a bone and say they win 37  to 27 on Saturday.

If the LSU team opens it up fast and keeps the offensive play-calling exciting, it could spell a long day for the home team. No home field advantage for any team who has to host the talented Tigers from Baton Rouge. If the cooking was in Louisiana, we might not even have to play this game. Giving Bama the homefield with their loyal and historic college football fans, I think LSU will have limiting scoring. Keep in mind, the LSU Tigers could put up 50 points on any given Saturday. If the Tigers played in the Pac 12 of college football, they would be scoring 60 and 70 point games and this includes over rated schools like Oregon and Stanford, who have no business in the top 10 right now. Yes, I saw the Cardinal color showing at 4th in the nation right now in the polls. But let’s face it, 3 strikes in baseball and you’re out. Why did Stanford strike out 3 times; when they played an unranked USC team?  They got strike 1, when they couldn’t beat them in regulation. Strike 2 with the 2nd failure of the night, when they didn’t win the 1st overtime period. Not beating a poor and less-talented USC team in the 2nd overtime was the third strike and Stanford is NOT top 10 material in the nation right now. They haven’t played anyone! So this LSU team from the bayous of Louisiana would put up a 55 to 13 score on this over rated Cardinal team.

However, LSU doesn’t have the luxury of facing an over rated West Coast College Football Team. They have to play in the South Eastern Conference. You know the one, that keeps producing champion after champion in college football. I think if LSU does it right, with great offense and limiting the Bama run gam, we could see the 31 to 10 score and the Tigers sealing their faith at number 1 this year. Alabama would drop out of the top 5 if this does happen and really, the guys running the BCS have already made up their minds, that the loser goes back to 7 – 9 in the polls. So the loser is going to get the worse end of the deal.

*To recap my two predictions. I have two scores and two winners:

**Alabama Wins – We see a final score of: 37 to 27

*** LSU Wins – We see a final score of 31 to 10

Which is the most likely thing to happen on Saturday? I think the obvious for Saturday, is that the LSU offense and defense (possibly) will cross the endzone line a few times and will get 27 or more points, against a really good and solid Alabama defense. Since the Crimson Tide lost Nick Fairley to the NFL, when the Detroit Lions drafted him, I think they are not as good as most give them credit for. I can see LSU exposing this line and put 27 points up, with the help of a defensive score too.

Future 1st Round NFL Draft Pick – Trent Richardson

Bama is the wildcard here. I see them running all day on LSU and having a solid 10 point victory over the Tigers. If Trent Richardson rushes for 87 yards or less; then my pick goes to LSU winning by 21 points. He has to reach the 88 yard mark, for the Crimson Tide fans to have something to scream and yell about on Saturday Night.

Tyrann Mathieu – Defensive Playmaker and Future NFL Star

On the other side of the line, don’t forget about a couple of great LSU defensive players. The Nation got an early preview of Tyrann Mathiue, as he basically shut down Oregon by his self in Dallas Cowboy Stadium. Keep in mind fans, just how the BCS, rich boosters of the Pac 12, and the football media and system saw Oregon and LSU. During this game, the LSU Tigers were the underdog, cause they were ranked 4th and Oregon was the 3rd ranked team in the Nation. The reason college football does this, is because they know the Southern Teams will get lots of chances to prove their self and move up in the rankings. Teams like Oregon, USC Trojans, and Boise State are always getting ranked too high to begin with, cause they have less quality opponents. LSU spanked Oregon so bad in this game. The final 40 to 27 score makes Oregon look bad enough as it is, but the game was much worse than this. After the mighty Tigers from LSU completely shut down “Oregon’s mighty offense” (which is over rated); the LSU Tigers were comfortably ahead 30 to 13 going into the final 15 minutes of the game. This awesome offense that ESPN tries to make us believe each week, is nothing and LSU showed it. Oregon scored 6 points, 7 points, and 0 points in the first 3 quarters and never did squat against a true Division I College Football Team. Oregon managed to get 14 in the final quarter, as the Tigers put their 2nd and 3rd string players in, and Oregon kept 1st string offense in the whole football game.

The South has the best football and get teams like Stanford and Oregon out of the top 10 teams in the Nation. Let’s face it, Georgia Tech is 100 times better than the USC Trojans; yet the GT Yellow Jackets are ranked #22; while the #21 USC Trojans moved into the Top 25, after a loss!!! That shows how corrupted the landscape and polls are in college football. Stanford is awarded credit for a 3 overtime game they won; when they almost lost and really should have. Since it was an unranked team, they still got awarded a solid victory and moved from #6 in the nation to the number 4 team in the country this week. On the flip side, they give USC credit for taking the number 6 team to 3 overtimes and even though you still lost the game, we will move you up above Georgia Tech. Because after all, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets only beat a tough, non-defeated team in the Clemson Tigers.

Beware of USC Trojans college fans. For all of you guys in high school, who are looking to play for a division I school. Don’t get recruited by the USC Trojans. They are on punishment now for paying players and their families and this is still happening and the NCAA will be punishing them again in the near future. Kirk Herbstreet and Brent Musberger can quit spreading this Pac 12 favors over your nationally televised TV game on ABC each Saturday. You guys clearly have a division and a USC Team you get paid under the table to promote on National TV. High School Players Avoid USC Trojans Football Program!

So now, luckily we have a way of working things out in the South. We got our own championship and two teams that has to work their way to the top; while playing solid teams each week from the South. Congratulations to the LSU Tigers for being the top team in the nation now and protecting our southern heritage. Congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide, for keeping the South protected, in case of a slip by LSU or a few illegal votes or cash payments, coming from the crooked USC Boosters Football Program and the rest of the PAC 12 Football Corruption.

The South doesn’t have to rise again. We have already risen! And it all started; when Jason Campbell from the Auburn Tigers, was not allowed to hand the ball to Ronnie Brown from Catersville and Cadillac Williams in a National Football Championship Game. Auburn Tigers are the real college football champions; when the record books credit Vince Young and the Texas Longhorns. Good luck to all the players, coaches, fans, and everyone else from the Alabama Football Program and the LSU Football Program; for playing in the REAL COLLEGE FOOTBALL SUPER BOWL FOR 2011!

The online floral arrangements at EZBloomers.com are pretty cool and very nice. I was looking at a few flower shops online, when I came across theirs. It was set up real nice and it was easy to find what I was looking for. I was hoping to find a nice gift basket online from a flower shop. Once I went to the EZ Bloomers website, I ended up seeing several gift baskets and it made the decision much harder. I didn’t know which one to get. They had a lot of great-looking baskets and probably one of the biggest selections online.

Tropical Flowers

For those who only want to send flowers online to a friend or loved-one, you will find a large assortment of flowers to choose from. I always like the floral arrangements; which have a lot of bright colors. The more colors you can add, the more I will like the flowers. I just never know which flowers are in season and if this is the right time of the year to order them. I would never send the fake flowers or a plastic floral arrangement. I know some folks like them and I do think for the grave sites, a plastic floral arrangement is okay.

If you want to surprise someone with flowers, be sure to send them the “real McCoy” (if you know what I mean). If you can pick out the flowers, which give off a nice aroma, that would be a good touch too. The plastic flowers can’t provide the soothing aroma or sweet smells, like the ones Mother Nature grows for us. So for me, a floral arrangement with lots of colors and one that you can smell easily. What kind of flowers do you like best?

The Antiques Road Show may have started the whole idea, with antiques on television. Regardless of where it started from, just about every show on cable TV right now, has to do with older items or antiques. In some cases, the guys like to refer to them as “mantiques“, so it makes it okay for them to watch and like these shows too.

In the older days, we might have seen our grandma with a lot of antiques she was proud of. Some grandmas today, probably still like to go shopping for antiques. You can find antiques online or on television. It is fun to collect the things from yesterday and hope they will grow in value.

I have my own antique collection now too. I have always like to collect things, but now I am starting to do it more. I recently cleared out my room and threw away a lot of things. Hopefully I didn’t throw away anything valuable, but I do want to make room for my new antiques I plan to buy.

I’m not sure which direction to take yet. Normally I collected the older antiques, which related to sports. I now see some value in the older items that were made real sturdy. Anything that is made out of cast iron, will last forever. So I believe I will look for cast iron toys and other items made out of cast iron. I also like gold very much and gold never loses its value. So for my mantiques I plan to collect in the near future. My collection will consist of a lot of cast iron antiques and antiques that contain gold. I would be happy to buy old or modern gold coins. The gold coins don’t have to be antique coins, to be valuable. If the coins contain gold, they are already valuable!

Last season of The Office, I barely even watched a whole episode. See, we had our first child then and understandably, any free time that I had I made sure that I spent it sleeping or just having my eyes closed. Now I have a little more leeway though and I wanted to make sure that I’d be able to watch this season of the show. Plus, we also invested in getting DVR so I’m able to actually watch my TV shows now whenever I want to.

We basically just marathoned the whole past season in one weekend to catch up right before the new season’s premiere. Bloggers are always looking for a good topic to blog about. They will try to blog about something popular; than trying to blog about something they have a passion for. I like to watch TV a lot, so it is easy for me to blog about different television shows. I watch a variety of different things on TV. I probably watch more sports than anything and I spend a lot of time, writing up blog posts about sports.

Right now, I have two television shows I have been blogging about. Each one of them has did well, because it was a TV program I enjoyed watching. You probably have a couple of shows on television you like to blog about too? For me, I first chose The Drs; which comes on ABC television in my local market. Others of you may watch The Doctors on CBS, NBC, or another TV affiliate. The Doctors come on 5 days a week and give out free medical advice. Their slogan is “where MD meets TV” and that is really true. I quickly found out, that a lot of other people like to watch this show on TV too. I have had a huge fan base for my Doctor’s blog. People want to know what I have to say about the show and they will go look and read all of my new Dr TV posts.

The other program I blog about online is Larry’s Country Diner. Not that many people know about this show, since it is not on a major network. This show is about legendary country singers from the past and other stars who grew up liking country music. There is a fan base for this show and a lot of nice people send in their replies, to my blog posts about Larry’s Diner on RFD – TV. This is America’s Rural Network Channel on television. If you have RFD – TV on your cable or satellite provider, you should really try to watch an episode of Larry’s Country Diner. It comes on at 11 PM EST every Saturday night and this is the time slot, I think most fans tune in to watch the show. You can watch them every Thursday evening too on RFD TV, since they do have two time slots each week.

If you are looking for something to blog about these days. Then try to think of the TV shows you like to sit down and watch. If you like to watch it every week, then chances are there is others just like you out there, that are fans of a certain television show. I enjoy blogging about the team of doctors that make up the Doctors Television Show each weekday morning and then my late night Saturday TV Show; which is Larrys Country Diner. The Diner is not a real restaurant, but is filmed on location from the good state of Tennessee.

I thought that my daughter would love the birthday gift that I got her of horse riding lessons. I really thought that she would love it. She loves playing with her little pony figurines and stuff like that. I guess she’s just afraid of the real things. I guess big animals like that can be really intimidating to little kids. But I want to get her over that fear and I think that she’ll really start liking her riding lessons if she can just get past that initial fear.

I went online to find some tips about how to get kids to get over fears of large animals. Smokers who like their cigars will travel many miles for them. I know living here in the States, we always see the cigars from Cuba as the best cigars in the World. I haven’t ever really smoked that many cigars. I wouldn’t know the difference between a cheap tasting cigar or a nice premium cigar, like the romeo julieta brand of smokes. There have been a few times I wanted to celebrate, so me and some buddies would buy cigars for the celebration moments.

I know it is a strong craving to get a good cigar, for those who like to smoke or just chew on them. For some reason, a cigar is something pleasant to chew on. I never wanted to chew on a cigarette, but I guess the tobacco is different.

Whatever the reason may be, it seems a lot of the best cigars in the World have to be imported in, to the U.S.A. territories. I guess American companies who work with and sell tobacco, have not mastered the fine art of a good cigar yet. Or it may just be the finest growing tobacco for cigars, is not grown locally here in the States. A state like North Carolina is famous for their cigarettes and all the tobacco crops you see in that state. I have driven the tobacco roads in Carolina. You can see tobacco as far as the eye can see. It’s a neat sight, for those who have never seen the tobacco farms in North Carolina.

I would just like to ask my readers, what they think makes up a good cigar. Is it the tobacco? Or just a special and secret way foreign nations like Cuba, have so much luck with perfecting the best cigars in the World? I also wonder who was the first man to hand out cigars, when he became a father at the hospital?

I miss my weekly pool night. It use to be every Thursday night and I couldn’t wait until that day came every week. It is a lot of fun to shoot on a pool team. I was on a good team, with about 7 others. We would send 5 players up each night and have 5 head to head matches. This was an 8 ball pool league. I was more use to shooting 9 ball, but once you get good, 8 ball is a better game. Playing nine ball anyone can win. When you play eight ball, you have to knock-in 8 balls, just like your opponent does. You may have a nice 7 or 8 ball run in 9 ball; then your opponent can make 1 or 2 balls to win. So 8 ball is better for those who can shoot a little. If you’re playing someone better than you, just play them in 9 ball and it evens things out a little. Just talking about pool now, makes me want to go to the billiard supplies place and pick up a new stick and pool bag. I don’t really have the time right now for a pool league again, but I do hope to play in one again, in the near future.

I love cold weather, but there are lots of things that I have to put myself through to still make it bearable. Most of the time it just means that I try to go out in the cold for limited amounts of time, but it has a lot to do with food. I love being able to get in from the cold and eating some really delicious hot food. I was in the mood for something like that this past weekend but I couldn’t decide on what to fix.

I went online to find some recipes for stuff that would be good for that. I was thinking breakfast food anyway, so at least I had a place to start. While I was looking through recipes for ideas, I came across some broadband plans on special and looked through them a little bit. After I did that I showed it to my roommate and we signed up for one of them.

I decided to make some biscuits and gravy, which made for a perfect brunch on Sunday morning. I’m going to have to fix them a few more times before the weather warms up though!
